American Buff Goose

Breed status – Critically rare

The American Buff is believed to have descended from the wild Greylag goose of Europe. As the name implies, they have buff coloration of the body with a light orange bill and orange feet. The breed can be used for meat and eggs as well as weed control in gardens. They are good parents, with a calm and docile personality making them a good choice for a home flock.
